It was sound and sleep in Colombo, as several search lights were flown from hear and there was a usual sign. People indeed did not seem to find anything unusual and are deep in sleep.
All of the incidents are happended in a lighting fast strike. On our apartment despite with electric blackout we actually gossiping around one our mate's birthday.
Suddenly there were a astonishing sound such like a hand-cart and the entire atmosphere of colombo are covered with red spots which are actually anti-aircraft weapon system of SL Air Force.
Incident were taken place to almost an hour and the pediod were seems to have a thundering fire works since no electricity to entire sub-urb except few luxurious apartments like the royal park, Rajagiriya.
During the period, one of the LTTE aircraft were entered into the air-space of colombo and have attacked to the kelanitissa power plant which were just a few killometres from the harbour.
Rumours indicates that the planned attack would be the harbour and because of the air-defence they were unable to attack to their prime target and instead bombard the kelanitissa instead.
According to the military spokesman, air raid were began on an army camp at Mannar and on colombo where 2 persons injurd with minor injuries.
All the aerospace is like having fire works situation and is nice to watch despite the danger involved.
